NOTD: Beige Babe.

These posts are so easy to write when I'm lacking inspiration or just want to say a quick something..and I really love doing them!! This colour is one of those that is basically autumn/fall in a nail polish and I love it.

It's Rimmel London's Lyrca Pro Nail Polish in 397 Beige Babe-hence the title inspiration for this post!-it's a really nice brown but in the bottle it looks more green in this picture which is actually how it normally appears. What I mean by that is that; in this picture, the polish on my nails looks very much like a lovely, warm brown when in reality it's a little more khaki-just in case you guys were expecting one thing if you wanted to try it and found another. :)

These tend to last about 3 days on my nails before they start chipping which you can see slightly in this picture-I should've taken the photos the day I painted my nails but oh well!!

Overall, I really love the colour of this polish, but I wish the formula would last a little longer-like a week or so. I have some other colours from the Lyrcra Pro range from Rimmel London and the colour-range in stores is really great too. The brush is described as 'maxi' and for someone with small hands and my definition small nails too, normally only one stroke of the brush covers my whole nail; making so quick and simple to apply. These nail polishes retail at just £4.59 each-go get some!

NOTD: Bright Blue!

Another NOTD post today! :D Loving this Barry M Nail Paint lately-although there was one thing I got really confused about..read on to find out what!!

It's that really, really bright electric blue colour that's reallllly eye-catching, and although it's a bright I wouldn't just label it as a 'summer bright' I think it's a seasonally universal shade!!

The shade is obviously called 291 but the rest of the Barry M nail paints-apart from Limited Edition ones- have actual  names as well as the number..I had a quick look on the Boots website and could find no such colour and then on the actual Barry M website and found it somehow! It's actually called 'Cobalt Blue 291' why the name isnt on the bottom I don't know but it may mean you have to get this paticular colour from the website and not Boots etc..let me know if you see it in your local Boots or Superdrug though-it may just be lack of colours on those shops' websites.

Overall, despite the colour/name/numbering confusion, I totally love the colour and the consistency of the Nail Paints-as usual with Barry M. Go check it out for yourself! At £2.99 it's a total bargain! :')

Monthly Favourites-August.

Time for favourites! :) actually, I'm not sure I am so smiley about that! I love autumn time, but I hate the thought of waiting forever for summer all over again and going back to school already. This time I'm not gonna add pictures for my favourites as I'm writing this in the evening and the lighting is SHOCKING. But, starting from next month, the pictures on Favourites posts will be back :).

Hair-care wise I've been absolutely in love with both of the Vo5 hair products I already posted about not too long ago. The Surf-Style Sea Salt spray and the Give Me Texture spray too. So this is techncially a lil review/update; the sea salt spray is absolutely amazing and exactly what I was hoping/looking for and more:P it's reallllllllly really nice and leaves your hair looking perfectly wavy without being OTT or too curly and doesn't leave your hair with that horrible crunchy feeling that some hair products do. The 'Give Me Texture' spray leaves my hair feeling so soft and I love it!! < this is surprising for me because I rarely ever really like hair products as I do very little to my hair.

Makeup wise I've been completely and utterly obssessed with my MAC Cream Blush in Lady Blush. My original worry was how pigmented it was and if it would like totally horrific and clown like on my super-pale skin, but it's soo easy to blend and gives a beautiful, rosey-pink glow. I use the ELF Studio Stipple Brush to apply it on a regular basis-basically every day atm!-because I really don't like using regular blush brushes in cream blushers. I've also been falling back in love with my very first MAC wishlist item and one of the first things I ever got from MAC: their Glaze lipstick in Hue, it is the PERFECT first item to get if you're stuck or a bit confused on what to buy. Contary to what I've heard other people say, I think it totally works for darker skin tones too because it's not a concealer-lips, blanking-out nude colour, it's a pinky nude and I'd imagine would work for anyone and everyone :D I seriously didnt take Revlon's nail polish in Minted off for about 5 days..which has to be a  record for me-I change my nail polsih colours every other day minimum!;)-and I just adore the colour and YES I think it is partly me hanging onto the soft colours of spring/summer! :( Eye makeup wise, I've been wearing a little less lately and just curling my eyelashes religiuosly ever morning and using my 'long lashes combo' mascaras to get my favourite lash-look of the moment. To see what I mean-go check out that Blog post :)

Fragrance wise-Soap and Glory Mist You Madly and Marc Jacob's original Daisy perfume!<3<3.

Skincare wise-Neutrogena's 2 in 1 Wash and Mask has been a favourite of mine ever since I started watching Youtube videos and SwalkerMakeup talked about it-she's amazing, go read her Blog and watch her videos!!-and I use it every morning and evening and then moisturize using Nivea's Soft-Refreshingly Soft Moisturizing  Cream. And that's pretty much ALL I have to do to keep my skin relatively nice and clear :)

Youtubers: meghanrosette-she's seriously absolutely HILARIOUS!! And then omd I cannot explain my love for MissGlamorazzi/TheGridMonster and LukeConard/LukeConard2..they did everyday VLOGS throughout the whole of August and they are so cute and funny and seriously just go watch them all-i rewatch them that's how amazing they are ;). I feel like I've mentioned them before but maybes not..also have been loving FleurDeForce and Amarixe :)

Films: havent been watching tooo many lately..love Bring It On,all of them!;) and Wild Child I forgot my love for that film!!<3.

TV: One Tree Hill..again! And Celebrity Big Brother ofc! Also been watching a lotta Family Guy lately-so funny :')

That's it for this month! What are your August Favourites?!

Thanks for reading :)

Blog Love: makeupsavvy.co.uk!

Quick post to say how in love I am with Makeupsavvy.co.uk. She posts regularly and has really great, clear photos. I love reading blogs and hers has been a current favourite of mine. She also creates a few different blog headers. My own is one of hers. They are FREE and avaliable to anyone for use in your blog. If you are gonna use one, make sure you write in your profile or attribution (I did both!!) that you got it from her Blog, so all credit goes to her. They're really creative and for someone as....technically challenged shall we say (?!) as me, they're a bit of a miracle really. If you are reading this, thanks so much because I really think it has improved the look of my Blog and I'm really grateful :) GO CHECK OUT HER BLOG GUYS. <3 <3.
