Sleek Palette!

I was looking around Superdrug just last weekend and was contemplating buying a Sleek Makeup palette. That's when I came across their new palette. Or at least it's new to me! They call it the Primer Palette. It contains 12 cream eyeshadows that can be used as bases for your eye makeup, or can be worn alone. It retails at £6.99. I really like this palette and found the primers really pigmented, plus they hold onto eyeshadow colours really well! It's definitely worth a try, especially if you're looking for a good primer and are on a budget.

Summer Nails!

I have to say, now that the weather is getting ever so slightly warmer, and the sky is getting ever so slightly lighter on an evening, I can really feel summer approaching! But, it's still England and therefore it's still kinda cold and kinda dark, so I needed something to cheer me up! If we still can't dress up in our bright and beautiful summer clothes, then we might as well dress our nails up bright and beautifully! My personal favourite "feel good" nail polishes are two from Barry M. The first is number 272 and is brilliantly named "Shocking Pink"-which it is! Just a classic bright pink, perfect with a tan! :) The second is number 291 and something a little more adventurous...bright blue! Or, maybe mix it up with a bit of both :) If you have access to Barry M, go pick up some summery polishes to get you in the mood! <3

First Blog Post :)

Well, after a couple of months of watching beauty videos on YouTube and reading those girl's blogs..I decided to do the latter myself...so, this is my blog :) I'm excited about writing it and hopefully getting a few followers. I'm going to blog about fashion, beauty and all those bits in-between. My name's Katie and I'm from the UK. My main goal in life is to become a writer, and I figured a blog would definitely be a good place to begin! I'm 13 so becoming a writer is still a dream and not quite an ambition yet, but I'm really excited about what doors it could open.
