NOTD: Star Dust.

heyya girlies.

I larrrve this colourr so much :)

It's quite thick and it doesn't have the foil effect, it actually is full of glitter which makes it look realllllly Christmasssssy <3<3<3

This shade is called Star Dust 17. Collection 2000 are a great, drugstore brand and have a great colour range. I'm not sure of the exact price, but I can't imagine they're more than £3-£4.

Thanks for reading!!

Review-Mascara-Maybelline New York One by One.

Review time..feel like its been a while since I wrote out a proper review so I figured I would as I've just bought a new mascara. I know this one has been out for a while but I literally only just got around to trying it out and I've gotta be honest..Maybelline still hold the title for having the best mascaras I've ever come across.

The tube is the regular size and shape, regular because it follows the pattern of the previously adored Colossal Volume Express and the Falsies by Maybelline New York, both of which are amazing too.

This mascara is really really good. It seperates and lengthens and gives some volume, bit not tons of it. If you're into the full look, this might be the wrong mascara for you beccause it seperates more than makes them full, but they do look really fluttery and nice after.

The wand is different to any I've seen before and its quite plasticky at first look, but it manages to make your lashes look soo natural and lovely after, so its all good! :)

Overall it's my favourite mascara of the moment and I would definitely repurchase it and its only gonna cost you £8.49! Bargain for how great it is! If you're thinking that price sounds a bit steep..dw its so worth it!!!

NOTD: Regal Red.

Another naiiil of the day post!!

I got this colour as I had a spare no7 £5 voucher and nothing else really caught my eye!

The colour looks a bit brighter than it actually is in this photo, it's a bit deeper but the perfect mix between that bright, blood red and a dark, wine red.

I really love the name of this nail polish-Devils Delight 190, it's very creative rather than the normal, boring and very cliche names.

The only thing I don't like about this nail polish is that the formula is quite runny and gets a bit messy if you're not careful with it..maybe that's because it's brand new though, because I've had no7 polishes before and they've all been quite thick and nice to apply.

This polish will cost you £7.00 which is a bit overpriced for the quality but its a biiiig bottle of varnish and the colour range is good and the colours are very pigmented. Maybe wait until you've got a no7 £5 voucher too?!

NOTD: Desert Haze.

Helllllloo :)

Another NOTD to tell ya about my new favourite nail polish by ELF :D

I found the perfect amount of natural light for a change so you can see it in and out of the sunlight! :) excuse the chip on one nail..this was after a weekend of wear.

and out of the sunlight completely..so in love with this colour as its so similar to Model Own's Concrete Mixer <3.

The bottle of polish itself is a good size and I used about two coats per nail which isn't bad at all for a nail polish only retailing at £1.50/$1.00 if you're in the states. Go check out the ELF website :)

Makeup Haul: ELF.

Heyya,

first off, a big apology for it almost being a whole month since I last blogged, I honestly have no excuse other than..just been a bit uninspired tbh! But now I have plenty of ideas for posts and pictures and can't wait to get back into it!

Now onto the haul! ELF sent me an email a little while back now saying they were having their 'last 50% off deal' as they've had a fair few recently. I don't know quite why they're doing that because since the great idea of half-off, I've heard more about ELF on Youtube and blogs than ever before, but ahh well. There was a staple makeup item I'd been waiting for them to get back in stock (Complexion Perfection) for a while and as soon as it was, I snapped up the oppourtunity to get some things! :)

A little brown box of makeup..perfect!<3

This is one of those felt-tip applicator eyeliners that I've been wondering about trying out for a while now and for £1.50..why not?!!

I was really impressed by how black it was and it dried soooo quickly and just didnt budge at all as soon as it was dry, seriously impressed!!

I originally bought this colour because I thought the swatch on the website looked kinda similar to Cement Mixer by Models Own..and when I got it out of the packaging I felt a little disappointed (but no worries when you see my next NOTD post-totally in love;)!)

The main reason I wanted to try this was because I'd heard it was a really good powder highlight and its pretty hard to find a nice, drugstore powder highlight.

Gotta be honest, whilst its a great idea in pan and theory......

And actually even in this picture it looks quite nice..but the lovely colour and shimmer is completely ruined by the powderyness (!) of it and its so crumbly that loads of product gets wasted. For £3.50 its not exactly a waste of money, I'm just gutted cos I was so excited for it!!

This was the main reason for ordering this stuff-as I said!! :) it's the best powder I have ever found tbh and I love it cos it can colour-correct too!!

A few people have said they were confused by what this powder does cos it looks crazily, rainbow-coloured but don't worry, you wont have a multi-coloured face :p I will doo a further Blog post about it soon!! :)
Kinda gave into the peer pressure and ordered the ELF Studio Powder Brush!

And a minimini updated review?! I totally love itt and its worth all of the buzz around it!!

This the Mineral Booster in Sheer and I wanted to try it out because I'm not that into Mineral makeup and wanna see if I like it or not!! This is kinda a cheaper version of Bare Minerals I guess..

Have to say, it's the same story as before...a nice idea and works on paper but when you actually get it..it's just a kinda muddyish powder that doesnt mattify that well..not tooo impressed tbh:L

These have also had a lot of buzz around them atm in the blogging/youtubing world and I'm really impressed with this actually :)

It's in the shade Natural which I thought would be the safest bet!! It's a great rosey nude colour.

It's really pigmented as you can see and retails at a great £3.50 :)

So that's about it for now :) Will be back soon with some updated reviews!! Anything else from ELF or any other brands I need to be trying out?!
