Advice For-Dry Skin.

I' ve decided to start writing small advice posts for people with different problems, this blog post will focus on dry skin. There's a lot of things you can do to try and help yourself when it comes to skin types.

1. Try a primer. If you have dry skin, it's important to use mouisturizing products, such as a primer. You can apply this before your makeup to give your skin a healthy and dewy glow, and it will help any dry patches stay refreshed. If you want to buy a really good primer, I would suggest loosening the purse strings a little and buying the Benefit That Gal Brightening Face Primer. It retails at £21.50 for a full size, store bought container, but you can also get smaller and cheaper tester sizes on Ebay. Or you could try something like the L'Oreal Studio Secrets Primer which retails at £14.29, although I cannot tell you it's good from personal experience, I have heard it works wonders.

2. Use a good moisturizer. This is perhaps obvious, but completely essentail! Moisturizer is one of those things that you don't have to pay hundreds for, for it to be good! My personal favourite is the Nivea Soft Refreshingly Soft Cream which retails at £4.18. I use it every day and it keeps any dry patches on my skin completely refreshed and it lasts. Other great moisturizing systems you could try are the Clinique products. The Dramatically Different Moisturizing lotion is meant for dry to combination skin types and is amazing, so definitely try that one out, it retails at £27.00 but would be worth it!

Those are just two small, simple but effective steps to take to tackling dry skin. If you have any other ideas or questions, don't hesitate to email me or comment on this post. Thanks for reading.
